Drying agents
The main use of drying agents is in technical and export packaging, to reduce humidity and thus protect goods from moisture.
- Drying agents based on silica gel: for drying hydroscopic materials packaged in phials, dietary supplements, etc., we offer silica gels in various weights, including those FDA certified as suitable for contact with foodstuffs.
- Container drying agents: drying agents based on calcium chloride used for drying the entire contents of a container and protection against undesired humidity due to changes in temperature. This humidity could otherwise condense inside cardboard boxes and support the growth of moulds.
- Drying agents based on bentonite: for drying residual humidity in barrier bags (certified in compliance with DIN 55 473)
